I find it very unlikely that King would tell Hellion cuz Hellion would think he's stupid 8D; A note is MORE POSSIBLE it kind of depends on his mental state and how much he thinks things through. At the very least he'd leave a note with HIMSELF to say he's sorry 8') But that might also be the very most.
UH it would mostly depend on how Hellion treated him, but the thing is that while King got amnesiaed and then was pretty much free to figure himself out in the first day or so without being told who he is or who he is supposed to be or how much he sucks, NEW KING would instantly get a note from himself about basically. I/YOU FAILED AT EVERYTHING SO WE'RE STARTING OVER, HERE IS THE SHIT YOU FUCKED UP AT, HERE IS YOUR ONLY JOB. So he'd be placing himself in a situation to have no self worth FROM THE START, and to be more okay with that, to take responsibility for his own shitty actions and the fact that he failed at everything, including everyone important to him \=D/
So if Hellion was like WOW YOU SUCK I AM SO MAD AT YOU he'd be like yeah that's legit, and if Hellion was like I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU he'd be like ok. Basically he'd be a lot more humble and passive and accepting of anyone having an issue with him. It's probably be obvious that Hellion is upset and he wouldn't want to make that worse so he'd just, leave him to it.
But he'd also like, probably be really compliant overall. So if Hellion WANTED to get him with faster it'd be easier 8') In fact he'd probably do basically anything Hellion wanted him to as long as it didn't hurt Canary. OWES HIM AT LEAST THAT MUCH. ETC.
Also tbh he'd probably also be kind of pissed at his past self for sucking so much and then leaving him to like, dig them both out of the suck.
BUT New King would also get back memories of deco time, so he would remember some things gradually, and maybe try to make more proper amends.
