MUCH TO HIS EMBARRASSMENT. King actually likes March. He doesn't think of him genuinely as a bro, mostly because broing is a two way street and he doesn't March is not really up for that, but he does feel kind of obligated to basically be a bro sot hat March is not entirely bro-less. IT'S KIND OF WEIRD. Like it is 100% pity??? Or at least... some ... good boy desire to do well by a dude who has had a shitty life and now is crazy? BASICALLY JUST DAVE IS A NICE KID? But he also very genuinely LIKES MARCH. He likes talking with him, he likes hanging with him, he doesn't trust him in a broad scope but individually he's not worried about March hurting him (and not entirely because he has no self worth...). But he's also torn between like, I LIKE MARCH AND WANT TO NOT BE A DICK TO HIM and also.... MARCH MAKES LIKING HIM REALLY HARD. Sob. He feels like caring about March is really putting a strain on Canary and if he ever has to choose between March and Canary it's really not a choice, he'd just like to not have to betray March to keep his team but the way March constantly pushes on things just by existing is kind of hard. NO ONE LISTENS WHEN KING TELLS THEM TO NOT TAKE THE ORGAN REMOVAL THREATS PERSONALLY...

Doesn't have a lot of thoughts. March seems like an ok kid, and one he can get along with! He's a little worried about this 'master' business, hopefully he doesn't have to murder you over it! He thinks March would make a good ally mostly because he operates in a way that Ticky finds more reasonable than other people. Ticky, like March probably, much prefers dealing with someone who will look you in the face and smile while they stab you, than pretend to be a such a good person and plant a knife in your back when you're not looking. March strikes him as the type of person he would get along well with! But he doesn't have much else to go off of right now.

Vincent damages Elliot's ability to be Elliot really severely. He never responds to Elliot's shouting, he never explains himself so Elliot is never shouting about the same things, he refuses to be 'touched' both in physically being dodgy as hell and conversationally and emotionally as well. Elliot is now aware that Vincent is off his rocker, YET abandoning family is just. Out. Always out. But he doesn't know how to fix Vincent. He doesn't know how he thinks and doesn't know how to help him. He doesn't even know how to properly hold him accountable for his crimes, since Aather has no judicial system, and Vincent wouldn't agree to any kind of penance or really mean it.
He also just sort of makes Elliot feel bad about himself... Because he's a failure who can't help his brother or stop him. Because he's a hypocrite who killed his own family and is also walking about unpunished for that. Because he has so few family members left and yet he can do nothing for them, sealing him in as just not good enough for his family name. He's ELLIOT!!! so he refuses to show these fears, but yeah 8') VINCENT'S PARTICULAR MANNER OF EXISTING MAKES ELLIOT'S LIFE HARD.
That said, they are brothers and Elliot will always love Vincent, always prioritize him, and never give up trying to do SOMETHING to make Vincent better.

Ok no. He really doesn't think much of Hikaru at this point. He's interested in him because he stabbed him! But they didn't really get to talk and Hikaru mostly said predictable things... He kind of feels bad for stabbing you but he's repressing that hard enough that he's not aware of it. He would like to talk to Hikaru again because he's prone to being interested in people he's tried to kill 8') A part of him is also glad that he didn't kill you but. Less so than the part of him that is frustrated about it...

OTHERWISE UH... IDK I hope we get better at being a team, though I think we're doing ok so far. I expect GMs game to really cement things one way or another. Ticky is slowly poisoning Cub's mind 8') And I don't see us having a leader but probably coming to be pretty good at deciding things as a group... All in all I think everyone on Copper Rose is willing to work with or around each other's... eccentricities, which I think is a pretty good trait to have for a team.

Ticky and Steel have the same problem, in that once he decides his feelings on a person it's hard to sway him. Only Ticky decided he likes Steel and that Steel is interesting so \=D/ He'll keep talking to him. HE IS KIND OF SULKY THAT YOU DON'T LIKE HIM FOR NO GOOD REASON!! Mostly because it would really be nice to have some friends his own age... But Ticky has a lot of self confidence so he's not really hurt or bothered by it. He'll keep doing what he wants to do because he wants to, and either Steel will come around or not. Coming around would be preferable but he can deal either way!
He's curious about Steel in that passive sort of way where he isn't really invested, but he'd still like to hear about him because he likes people and he likes hearing their stories! But his pushing is mostly because Steel resists and less because he really gives a fuck.

Hal with a body HAS A LOT OF FEELS. He still tends toward the Strider end of not showing them really overtly, unless they are positive and emotions he is comfortable with, but he's also not a good liar so if he is feeling a thing it's really obvious. The thing is, Hal as a computer ALSO HAS A LOT OF FEELS but they are never in control of him and he never has to show them. In fact, expressing his emotions would take MORE effort, because obviously conveying emotion through text is generally a thing you try to do, and as a super intelligent computer, he only says what he intends to. So it's really easy to watch himself and not let his feelings on, and it would be much harder for him to express himself as a computer. As a human it will be PRETTY OBVIOUS basically all of the time.
This won't necessarily change his feelings on anyone. Like, I guess you could say HE WILL CARE ABOUT DAVE EVEN MORE NOW THAT EMOTION DOMINATES MORE OF HIS THOUGHT PROCESS, but really it's the same amount of caring, just being more swayed by it. But how will things change when Hal's friends have an emotionally reactive, caring, helpful, nosy, involved, and really easy to read Dirk Strider on their hands? IDK 8D; HOW LONG CAN DAVE RESIST THE HUGS. WILL HE LET HAL KISS HIM? WILL VRISKA CONCEDE TO CUDDLES?? WILL KARKAT LET HAL TOUCH HIS NUBS?? WILL HAL GO ON DATES? WILL HE FINALLY YELL AT DIRK FOR BEING A DICK? WILL HE MAKE OUT WITH DIRK?? who knows \=D/ It will be exciting.

SO FOR A WHILE KING REALLY LIKED DUCHESS. Though in all honesty there was just hm... She was just a very hot and agreeable girl so why wouldn't he??? It was shallow but he did feel comfortable around her, and he thought that by just by accepting her weird eccentricities it meant he 'got her', and they were good!
Then she got mad about the March stuff, blamed him for a lot of shit, tried to dump the team, took up self harm, and never explained anything and now he feels like he has no fucking clue what is up with this crazy bitch, and she is the most difficult member of the team 8') LIKE. AT LEAST RABBIT IS REALLY EASY TO UNDERSTAND even if they disagree on everything?? But he literally just. Never knows what is up with Duchess anymore. He has no idea what she really wants, or what she is trying to accomplish at any given time. All he fully gets is that she doesn't want to lose! And also that she has a really uh... disproportionate and self centered view of reality? Neither of these really register as 'bad' to him, it's just, not what he expected exactly and also he doesn't get her at all. He just kinda feels like he sucks at dealing with Duchess and was probably never actually good at it to begin with.
THIS ISN'T TO SAY THAT HE DOESN'T LOVE HER, as he cares about all of his team and that includes Duchess and always will! He just doesn't feel at all comfortable with her anymore and it's kind of like WHAT WILL TRIGGER HER TO FREAK OUT IN A WAY I DON'T GET NEXT?? WHAT LOGIC WILL SHE TOTALLY DISREGARD BECAUSE IT DOESN'T PRODUCE THE RESULTS SHE WANTS TODAY??
Unfortunately this means that she is also totally off his radar as far as prospective girlfrands so hearing that from March was just like. Fuck. More things I have no idea how to handle.

He doesn't really find Dave very difficult to understand even tho he also doesn't know half of what comes out of Dave's mouth. He's obviously a good boy who is conflicted over what 'good' means, and how to be 'good' in scenarios where someone will always have to suffer. Ticky can relate to this at least a little bit, as he's wondered similar things himself, although he wasn't fortunate enough to really be worrying over it much as Dave's age. He figures Dave had a pretty sheltered life if he's still such a child at his age. But that's ok! Ticky doesn't judge (much). He likes Dave because he is trying and struggling, and he'll support him while he makes his decision.
He's not really bothered at all about Dave stopping him or anything like that. Or Dave's barbs about his sanity and shit. W/E W/E he likes you but the opinions of children don't concern him. Dave will have to prove himself a man if he wants his opinions to be taken seriously.

Which isn't to say he doesn't like him, he does. Gil is kind of fun, and he likes that he at least agrees with Ticky on stuff, as opposed to being dumb but also moral??? And he's pretty easy to manipulate. Like Ticky doesn't even have his manipulate skill and he can still get Gil to do things... Mostly just by telling him to and insulting him if he doesn't 8') GIL IS A SIMPLE MAN... But that's fine. Ticky doesn't really judge people by their failings.
THERE ISN'T... A LOT MORE THAN THAT. Gil is important because he is team and Ticky is very loyal to concepts of team! And he thinks Gil is pretty easy to 'get'. He was really pleasant surprised though that Gil can care about something as much as himself! But so far Gil still needs to open up a bit more before Ticky has any special feels regarding him.
