OKAY SO TICKY IS THE TEAM ADULT and Lizzie is basically. :|a very primed to listen to AUTHORITY or not necessarily authority but takes like what her Aunt tells her about what girls should do, her mother's expectations, ect seriously. FAMILY and FIANCE. PEOPLE WHO ARE IMPORTANT TO HER but also probably especially family-type adults because she is a good girl and good girls listen to their parents. So! She trusts Ticky just since he is IN THAT POSITION which prior to his arrival wasn't filled, because Kirei wasss distant and they hadn't threaded much, and Gil was more of in an OLDER BROTHER slot. Did not have that adult's authority about him. He also showed up with all his memories which adds to that kind of expectation. More experienced in the ways of the world! Respect your elders! Ect.

So! In game before cub spoke up she was unlikely to argue with his KILL THEM decision because TEAM ADULT. even though she disagreed. but thennn Little Lion spoke up and she added her voice in because she values FAMILY but in the end also agreed to like, okay yes adults can make choices but I don't want Little Lion upset so I'll go distract him and Ticky told her to cover her eyes. AND ALSO IN THE END HE WAS RIGHT so this contribute to thinking he is. responsible DOING THE RIGHT THING good head on his shoulders.

SHE HAS NO IDEA HE IS CRAZY and like by the tiiime she finds out it might be like. well yes but he has ALWAYS taken care of us and it also depends on what other memories she gets back and junk, but FOR NOW. Definitely respects him. WILL PROBABLY TAKE WHAT HE SAYS TO HER TO HEART.

Ticky's thoughts on his team!

Ticky is not realy a judgmental fellow so like... he OBSERVES FACTS ABOUT HIS TEAM? But he doesn't really hold anything against them. It doesn't bother him that Cub is naive or that Dave judges him for killing people or that Gil is a narcissistic dbag. That's jsut who they are \=D/ Whatever. He cares for everyone on his team because they are team and that is what you do, the end! He will look for them the best he is able, but he also, hm. His definition of 'looking out' is a little skewed. Like he told Cub that when he's ready for it, he'll let the kid choose the NICE OPTION in a BAD GAME. Entirely sure that it will be terrible and they will all die horribly \=D/ Because it's a life lesson and he is willing to let the kid fuck up in order to learn it. Not out of malicious I AM RIGHTness, but out of.... that's part of the growing process! He understands that is willing to let it go that way.

So yeah, he has his team's backs! But in an odd kind of way where he is willing to let them fuck up, or also totally override them where he feels it is necessary. ONE WAY HE FEELS IT IS NECESSARY IS TO ESTABLISH CLEARLY EARLY ON THAT PEOPLE WHO MURDER HIS TEAM WILL DIE. He sees no fucking reason to not retaliate on games. He finds it kind of laughably ridiculous that people think that should actually be a thing. OH YOU CAN HORRIBLY KILL EVERYONE IMPORTANT TO ME, AS LONG AS YOU DO IT IN A GAME AND CAN BLAME IT ON YOUR DIFFICULT SITUATION 8') Fuck you guys, LIFE is a difficult situation, and if you make mine worse I'll make yours worse. THE END.

This is not going to change easily, if it can be changed at all, though Ticky may be less consistent with some teams than others. For example, if he does get a real alliance with Celeste and they only hurt each other if they have NO OTHER CHOICE, he'd probably forgive that. But if they do it when there are plenty of other people around to bus, fuck you, stab stab, etc.

INDIVIDUALLY... he likes everyone on his team and doesn't have a lot of really specific thoughts, because they all just kind of exist under the 'team' header. They are the most important people to him in Deco and he will murder mercilessly for them because he's a good teammate \=D/ He will hold them when they cry and also callously teach them that the world is a terrible place, better get used to it, then hold them when they cry again.

HOW IS SHARK DOING IN DECO...

UNTIL RECENTLY THE ANSWER THE WAS REALLY POORLY.

March had a contract over him, then deleted his FOLLOW ALL MY ORDERS order, then deleted his safe guard against Shark attacking him by nulling out the contract altogether. Which, like, the deletion of constraints controlling him should be a good thing, right? Wrong. To him that's shoving his powerlessness in his face. Parading LOOK I DON'T EVEN NEED THESE BINDINGS TO CONTROL YOU. There's not a damn thing you can do about it anyway, is there? March is not a good or moral person, so understanding March has limits about mind-control and shit due to trauma is just out of his realm of experience, so clearly there was a plot there, and it was in a way worse than the contracts because the pressure of the contracts were still there as in THIS WAS SOMETHING HE HAD OVER YOU so he clearly hasn't given those up but now the rules and consequences are unknowns. Which was fucking scary, and Shark has only recently been reacquainted with fear.

So his mental well-being and emotional well-being was steadily degrading under that, and his usual coping methods were blocked from him. The last straw was in Mary and System's game, nnnnot because of the game stakes or anything the other teams were panicked or worried about! Not even because of his death! But because of the way the decision making for Celeste went down, where March attempted to make him bribe March for March's support in supporting March's argument to Rolan. :') So not only did he not get an opinion he would have to bribe a teammate to argue their own damn opinion with someone who wouldn't listen to him because lol who gives a fuck about anything you say, the words have no weight coming from him.

So! This post happened. :') March and Shark off-comm as per usual so in case things devolve too much we don't end up with a torture post on-comm. Always good to preempt these things.

But basically going into that March had no fucking idea how bad everything was wearing on Shark, and Shark was too drunk to really shut down as much as he usually does for dealing with him.

And long story short: He found out he had nothing to fear. March's power was a bluff, he got in a lucky shot once and kept lifting up the hammer and threatening to drop it again on that weak point, but it has in fact long healed over. SHARK IS MORE POWERFUL BETWEEN THE TWO OF THEM. HE DOESN'T NEED TO FEEL PAIN. YES HE'S LESS COMBAT CAPABLE BUT HE CAN DO A GOOD MINDFUCK BUT HE'S NOT EVEN INTERESTED IN THAT. HE HAS HIS FUCKING CONTROL BACK. denial coping mechanism? BACK IN PLACE.

Before fear prevented him from just convincing himself nothing was wrong and he was okay with the state of everything, because by doing that he would doubtlessly end up blinding himself to things again (like warning signs), which is what got him so fucked in the first place. Fear said No Do NOT repeat those errors.

Now he's like \o/ FEAR CAN GO FUCK ITSELF I'M ON TOPPPP.

and if teammates try and shatter that well uh fuck you dudes I can fuck you up but hopefully I won't have to because we've got enough external enemies that I'd prefer we all get along? But try and silence me or speak over me and you're going to fucking regret it. >)

Would you ever hypothetically app an OC to deco if you had like infinite slots and whatever appropriate team had space and blah blah blah other considerations?

IF I HAD INFINITE APP SLOTS and wasn't bogged down with other RPs? Yes. =|a the problem with me and OCs isn't that I don't love OCs, I think, but i tend to just be a litttle more invested in other people's characters. Also the memory loss situation is kind of hard with OCs because it requires me laying out canon in a lot more detail than I generally have. One day when Box and I actually write a comic I will probably play a character from it down the line, but that will be yearrrrsss. I do enjoy OCs tho, and would enjoy playing either Saguaro or Leonette, I think =|a I would d play Leonette if I could get my wife to draw me icons for her. But then I end up apping characters i will NEVER DROP like King and Ticky so 8')

Does Lizzie have any off team friends? Who are they?

NOT YET because I keep failing at playing her. I HOPE I CAN IMPROVE BECAUSE DAMMIT I LOVE HER but y-yeah I've been having some trouble. HAVEN'T SETTLED INTO VOICE WHICH MAKES ME NERVOUS SO INSTEAD OF PLAYING HER I PLAY SHARK WHICH MEANS YET MORE NOT PLAYING HER AND NOT HELPING ME SETTLE INTO HER VOICE. N-NOT GOOD CHOICES.

Anyway s-so far sheee has threaded with Diana/Autumn some, and just met Musica, Ginger, and Setsuna. I'll see if any of those turn into friendships but right now I just need to fail less.
